Kicking off a brand new metaverse experience, complete with a live performance by a GRAMMY winning UK alternative group.
“Simulation Theory has always been about creating experiences that re-define the human role in programming and technology,” says Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. I was approached by Stageverse to build the key art for a new campaign within their metaverse in alignment with what Simulation Theory represents.
Muse wanted to treat the experience as an extension of their existing live brand, “Simulation Theory.” The direction we took was to rethink the past artwork in a way that welcomes the viewer into the metaverse. We modified the look, and added Murph from their live show, and the avatar from Stageverse to glue the concept together.
Once the key art was approved, it was delivered to Muse and Stageverse for additional scaling from their respective teams for social media marketing and to be placed within Stageverse.

The two hour show contained 16 viewpoints and provided a virtual space for avatars to interact with one another, try on clothing from Muse and luxury fashion brand Balmain Paris, and explore different areas of the metaverse.
